SHERIFF COURT OF FIFE DEEDS, 1715-1809

[From the Deed Registers, SC20/33 series. There are gaps in the Registers from 1729-1746 and 1751-1797, and the Deed Warrants (SC20/36 series) have been used to fill these gaps. There is an index from 1720-1809 [SC20/35/2], but there are a number of warrant deeds which do not appear in this index; these Deeds appear to be Falkland Burgh Deeds as they were registered at Falkland, and appear both in this indexing and that for Falkland]
