[Extracted from the Minute Book of the Weavers' Incorporation of St Andrews, 1751-1862, now in the Hay Fleming Reference Library in St Andrews. D H Fleming had purchased the book from David Mitchell, cabinet-maker, 140 South Street, on 30 Oct 1917. This David Mitchell was almost certainly related to the David Mitchell, admitted Freeman of the Incorporation in Nov 1813, and Boxmaster in 1843-45, who received the Trade Book from Thomas Peatie on 10 June 1862]
