Fife FHS is pleased to announce that Version Two of the Pre-1855 Deaths Index CD is now available.

The new CD is extremely user-friendly, with searches easily set up and results clearly presented in a variety of layouts. Results of searches can be printed and can also be exported to other programs such as Word or Excel. The database has been extended to include an additional 3000 entries on top of the quarter million-plus in the original version.

Version Two runs on:

PC: Vista, XP, Windows 98, 2000 and ME
Mac: systems below OS X. It works on Tiger through Classic. Unfortunately it does not work on Leopard.

Version Two is completely self-contained and does not depend on prior installation of Version One. The installation procedure is simple - you simply insert the disc into the CD drive whenever you want to use it (there is no need to go through complex security procedures such as altering the date of the computer).

We have even been able to bring down the price to £15, with a special price of £10 for users who have previously purchased Version One. The prices including postage are as follows:
